Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed Game PC

I want to admit from the beginning that I haven’t been the biggest fan with the Neptunia group of games. I usually see them brimming with useless fluff and lacking lots of depth for their games. Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed doesn’t complete a lot to quell my desire for more depth. What it does do though, is sign up for a lot with the needless banter and invite you to just kick the hell beyond everything in sight. It’s not an overly great game, but this can be a direction I think this series must go to certainly be a better franchise.

Normally, only at that part of an assessment I would quickly go over the story and what you’re playing, but there really isn’t one here. Characters Famitsu and Dengekiko looking to land exclusives while using CPUs in addition to their candidates. In order to get these great stories, both the writers must travel in conjunction with all from the CPUs and CPU candidates out in the world and undertake quests. As I said earlier, along side it banter is kept as small as possible and really almost all of it is forgettable anyway, so it’s nothing but good. The story itself was cute sometimes, however , took a backseat to questing.

Action Unleashed takes us faraway from its RPG roots and it is really even more of an action game just like Dynasty Warriors. The major difference being that while DW has a great deal of structure and depth to it’s missions, Action Unleashed is incredibly short and sweet.

Everything, for better or worse, involves taking on quests again and again. The formula is always to accept a quest with requirements and doing the work with certain participants. The quests rarely break from that, with many item fetch quests sprinkled in along with the occasional red quest which won't tell you the way to win. In these red missions, it’s experimenting until you complete it, though mostly nevertheless boils down to killing certain enemies.

Thankfully the combat itself as well as characters are very well done. Each from the eight playable girls their very own own distinctive fighting style. For example, you've Blanc that is an close up bruiser, and after that Uni, who deals damage from distance with your ex gun. In combat, you basically possess a weak and attack, in addition to special moves that you could pull off when you finally fill up your SP gauge. There is also the opportunity to turn into your HDD counterpart, doing twice the damage to enemies. Players will also have the opportunity to unleash a deadly EXE attack that does massive injury to everyone on-screen.
